はじめに：親の一手が、子の十年を変える

2030年に向けて、日本はAIの普及、人口減少、物価上昇、働き方の激変という大きな波に入っています。これらは抽象的な話ではなく、これから社会に出る子ども世代（10〜30代）の暮らしに、就業・居住・家計・人間関係の面で直接影響しますし、就業に関してはすでにその影響が出始めています。
親世代の役割は、行動の土台を整えること。家庭や子どもたちを取り巻く社会が、変化を生き抜く力を生む導火線です。若者に向けた提言にも是非目を通してください。

2030年までに何が起きやすいか

• 仕事の質が変わる：AI・自動化で、ホワイトカラー含む仕事が置き換わり、“人×現場×IT”の複合スキルが評価されやすくなる。「大学を卒業したから」、「資格を取得したのだから」ということが強みではなくっていきます。AIやロボットに置き換えられる職種を常にチェックしておく必要がある。
• 地域格差が広がる：地方の担い手不足・空き家増加。都市は高コスト化。都市と地域を行き来できる生活設計が強みになる。
• 社会保障の不安定化：若い世代ほど年金・貯蓄の実質価値に不確実性。お金以外の価値（技術・協働・信用）が効いてくる。

親世代が「今日からできる」5つの準備

1. 学びの方向づけを変える
   • 「資格や学歴＝安泰」ではなく、作れる・直せる・設計できる・ITで繋げるの実践力へ。学歴や資格があっても経験がない人の雇用は減ります。「とりあえず大学に」は避けた方が良い。手仕事やITに触れて、自分でプロジェクトを立案・実践する経験をする。
2. 居住の柔軟性を用意する
   • 空き家や実家の活用、親子でのセカンド拠点づくりを検討し、拠点づくりを一緒にやっていく。
3. 家計を“学び資産”へ振り向ける
   • 受験・資格だけでなく、道具・工具・ソフト・小規模起業費に小さく投資。
   • 「買い替え」より修理・アップグレードを優先し、実技と節約を同時に育てる。
4. 人脈と現場を繋ぐ
   • 親のネットワーク（地域事業者・職人・業界OB）を子の体験機会に変換。プロの現場の見学・手伝いなどにより実需に触れるようにする。
5. 家族で“プロジェクト”を持つ
   • 空き家の簡易リノベ、地域材での制作、3Dプリントでのパーツ作り、PC再生・販売、地域向けの便利サービス開発、ソフトウェアの個人開発などを行い企業マインドと自信を育てる。

子どもと一緒に進める1年プラン

複合スキルで“二刀流化”

• IT（AI・CAD・データ処理）×現場技術（木金工・建築・修理）の2軸を最低限セットで。
• 都市と地域を行き来できる学び・仕事の二拠点化を具体的に進める。

進路の考え方：3つの観点で伴走する

1. 需要直結性：誰の、どの不便を解決するのか？（地域・現場の課題に近いほど強い）
2. 再現性：同じ手順で2回目・3回目もできるか？（手順化・マニュアル化・道具化）
3. 拡張性：ITやAIを組み合わせると何倍になるか？（自動化・効率化・発信で伸ばす）

ZIKUUの活用

モノづくり塾ZIKUUは、手を動かしながら技術を身につけ、IT・AIと掛け合わせて“生きる力”を育てる場です。ZIKUUに限らず類似の施設があれば利用する。そして親子で参加し、

• 二刀流人材（IT×現場）の育成
• 小さな起業・販売の支援
• 地域資源の活用（地域材・空き家・修理）
• 世代を超えた協働チームづくり
  を進めるます。家庭だけでは作りにくい現場・人脈・道具・機会がそこにはあります。

• 手仕事×ITの固定時間を作った
• 家族プロジェクトを1つ決めて役割分担した

• 修理・再生を1件やってみた（家電・PC・家具など）

親世代へのメッセージ：受験だけで終わらせない

これからの10年は、“正解を当てる力”より“つくって届ける力”が子の人生を支えます。
親ができる最大の支援は、挑戦のハードルを下げる環境づくりです。道具と時間を与え、現場に繋ぎ、小さな成果が出るまで伴走する。そこから、子どもは自分の道を自分で描けるようになります。
家庭・地域・ZIKUUなどの教育・研修施設が手を取り合えば、2030年の日本はまだ十分に明るく設計できます。

— What Families Can Do Now to Protect the Future of the Next Generation —

Introduction: A Parent’s Action Today Can Shape a Child’s Next Ten Years

As we head toward 2030, Japan is entering a period of major upheaval: the spread of AI, population decline, rising prices, and drastic changes in the way we work. These are not abstract issues—they will directly impact the lives of the younger generation (ages 10–30) in terms of employment, housing, household finances, and relationships. In employment especially, the impact is already being felt.
The role of the parent generation is to lay the groundwork for action. The family, and the society surrounding children, serve as the fuse that ignites the power to survive change. Please also take a look at the proposals aimed at young people.

What Is Likely to Happen by 2030

• The nature of work will change: With AI and automation, even white-collar jobs will be replaced, and hybrid skills that combine human × hands-on × IT will be more highly valued. “I graduated from university” or “I have a certificate” will no longer be strong advantages. It will be essential to keep track of jobs being replaced by AI or robots.
• Regional disparities will widen: Shortages of workers in rural areas and increases in vacant homes, while cities become more expensive. The ability to design a lifestyle that moves between urban and rural areas will be a strength.
• Social security will become unstable: The younger the generation, the greater the uncertainty in the real value of pensions and savings. Values beyond money—skills, collaboration, trust—will matter more.

Five Preparations Parents Can Start Today

1. Redirect learning
   From “degrees and certificates = security” toward hands-on ability: to build, repair, design, and connect with IT. Employment opportunities for people with qualifications but no experience will shrink. Avoid “university for the sake of it.” Instead, engage in crafts and IT, and gain experience planning and executing projects.
2. Prepare for flexible housing
   Explore utilizing vacant houses or family homes, and consider creating a second base together as parent and child.
3. Shift household spending toward ‘learning assets’
   Invest not only in exams and certificates but also in tools, equipment, software, and small-scale start-up costs. Prioritize repair and upgrades over replacement, fostering both practical skills and savings.
4. Connect networks with real-world sites
   Transform the parents’ networks (local businesses, artisans, industry veterans) into learning opportunities for children. Provide exposure to real demand through visits and hands-on help at professional sites.
5. Run a family ‘project’
   Examples: simple renovations of a vacant house, making things with local materials, 3D-printed parts, refurbishing and selling PCs, developing local convenience services, or solo software development. Such projects nurture entrepreneurial mindset and confidence.

A One-Year Plan to Move Forward with Your Child

• Develop hybrid skills (“dual-track”)
  At minimum, pair IT (AI, CAD, data processing) with hands-on technical skills (wood/metal work, construction, repair).
• Advance concrete “dual-base” learning and work that span both city and countryside.

Guiding Career Choices: Three Perspectives

1. Direct demand connection: Whose inconvenience are you solving? (The closer to local, hands-on issues, the stronger.)
2. Reproducibility: Can it be repeated a second and third time with the same procedure? (Standardization, manuals, tools.)
3. Expandability: How much can IT or AI multiply the results? (Through automation, efficiency, and communication.)

Utilizing ZIKUU

The ZIKUU Makerspace is a place to acquire skills by working with your hands, while combining them with IT and AI to cultivate the power to live. If not ZIKUU, then use a similar facility. Join together as parent and child to advance:

• Development of dual-skill talent (IT × hands-on)
• Support for small-scale start-ups and sales
• Use of regional resources (local timber, vacant houses, repair)
• Creation of cross-generational collaborative teams

There you will find the people, sites, tools, and opportunities that are difficult to create within the household alone.

A Checklist Families Can Use

• Set fixed times for hands-on × IT practice
• Choose one family project and assign roles
• Connect with at least three adults locally for site visits or consultations
• Try at least one repair/refurbishment (appliance, PC, furniture, etc.)
• Sell or present one finished product (to check real-world response)
• Test dual-base learning (urban/rural), even short-term

Message to Parents: Don’t Stop at Entrance Exams

Over the next decade, what will support your child’s life is not the “ability to guess the right answer” but the ability to create and deliver.
The greatest support parents can provide is to create an environment that lowers the hurdles to challenge. Provide tools and time, connect them to real sites, and accompany them until they achieve small results. From there, children will learn to chart their own paths.
If households, local communities, and educational/training facilities like ZIKUU work hand in hand, Japan in 2030 can still be designed to be bright and full of opportunity.
